Villa La Rosa Antica (Antique Rose) is a charming Tuscan villa situated in the heart of Tuscany, between Florence and Lucca. Originally it was the barn of a 19th century Podere (farmhouse) and it’s been completely restaured using traditional and handmade materials and reconverted in beginning 2013. Its name comes from an ancient rose plant which resisted to all seasons and works during the centuries. It has a wonderful view of the olive groves of the property and the medieval city of Pistoia...
Close by are two other houses which originally were the owners house and the farmers house, making all together a very tiny tuscan hamlet surrounded by an olive grove and a natural wood. Each house has is private garden and benefit of privacy and intimacy.
La Rosa antica is a small independent villa, located on a little hillside just uphill from the main estate villa, which dates back to the 19th century and today still produces its own olive oil. It’s name is due to an ancient rose plant which resisted to all men works and heavy machines that passed over it during restoration. It has a wonderful view of the olive groves of the property and the medieval city of Pistoia (only 3 Kms from it). It sleeps 6 in 2large double bedrooms, separate (with a door) living room with double sofa bed, separate well equipped traditional kitchen with fireplace, studio/living with single sofa, chairs and small international library, patio/terrace equipped with outdoor sofas, private garden, 1 bathroom with jacuzzi, 1 bathroom with shower. The villa is furnitured in Tuscan style with a modern touch and has complessively five separate rooms + 2 bathrooms.
