The Grand Hotel Minerva is an exclusive 4-star hotel, located in the  Piazza di Santa Maria Novella, the center of Florence. Once embellished  by the restoration work carried out by the architects Edoardo Detti and  Carlo Scarpa this hotel became one of the most prestigious in the city.  The hotel has 102 rooms of different styles and design, each one  elegantly furnished with a lovely view overlooking the square or the  Santa Maria Novella church. The fifth floor terrace offers a wonderful  view over the roofs of Florence. Our advice 
This hotel is the ideal choice for those who want to spend their  holiday in the true heart of Florence. A short walk away from the city  centre, the museums and the area of greatest historical and cultural  interest, it is literally just around the corner from the train station,  allowing you to easily visit all the other major Tuscan cities such as  Siena, Pisa, Pistoia and Lucca. Moreover, the great location means that  it's it always easy and pleasant to take an after-dinner walk to go get  some gelato or just take in the splendors of Florence by night.
