In the morning you will join a walking tour of Florence, Discover facts and secrets of over 2,000 years of Florentine history, from the city’s Roman origins to a 15-century Palace, from the Ponte Vecchio, through the famous Uffizi courtyard, on to the marvel of architecture of Brunelleschi’s Dome of the Cathedral watched by the golden “Gates of Paradise” of the Baptistery. Lunch at leisure. Self-drive to Ugolino Golf Club. Golf round in the oldest golf club in Italy; today it is set in one of the most spectacular golf courses. Deeply set in the Tuscan countryside, amongst olive trees, cypresses and rose bushes. It is a demanding course due to the uneven ground, obstacles and the small and well protected greens. We suggest having dinner Greve in Chianti, its triangle-shaped piazza hosts some very good restaurants.

It is an innovative event that has become a permanent annual event. Winetown is organized by the Florence Wine Town committee with support from our friends at the A.I.S., Italian Sommelier Association and the Italian Historic Houses Association.
