Versilia is a rich land situated between the Apuan Alps and the Tyrrhenian coast, stretching from Cinquale to Lake Massacciucoli within the province of Lucca. Its extremely fine sand beaches together with its wind-sculpted mountains are the trademark of this area that is considered to be the most popular tourist attraction-seaside resort in Tuscany.
Within this area, the towns of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi can be found and which are famous for their fully-equipped beaches, sun loungers and coloured beach umbrellas, nightclubs and famous restaurants.
Versilia however, also offers unrivalled nature, protected in its numerous natural parks that provide a paradise for both fauna and flora.
